Prior to her role as NACME’s President and CEO, Michele served as Executive Director of The National GEM Consortium (GEM) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Beyond her non-profit roles, Michele also has extensive experience in both university and corporate environments, having served as a diversity strategist at Purdue University, an employee of Notre Dame as GEM ED, Director of Satellite Scrambling Operations at Home Box Office (HBO), Associate Director of Broadcast Operations and System Integration at Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) and several engineering roles with IBM. Michele earned her BS in Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University (NACME Scholar) and both her MS in Industrial Engineering (GEM Fellow) and MBA in Finance and Accounting (Toigo Fellow) from Columbia University.
